Hotel Information

We have set aside some blocks of rooms in various hotels in Providence. Note that September is the peak of the season: once the rooms that we reserved for you are gone, it will be very hard to find alternative space for any reasonable price. So please reserve as soon as possible and note the hotels' various cut-off dates! Below you will find descriptions of the hotels, pricing information, and links to the hotels' reservation systems. Courtyard at Marriott Hotel: conference hotel

A block of 125 rooms has been set aside for both CP and ICAPS for a price of $149 (ca. EUR 110) per night, plus taxes. The cut-off date is July 24, 2007, but we expect rooms to fill up quickly, so please make reservations early! The hotel is very beautiful and is convceniently located in downtown Providence, right next to the Rhode Island Convention Center where the main technical program will take place. The hotel has a pool and offers free internet access from your hotel room.

Renaissance Hotel

A block of 25 rooms has been set aside for both CP and ICAPS at the newly opened Renaissance Hotel for a group rate of $189 (ca. 140), plus taxes. The cut-off date is July 14, 2007, and we expect rooms to fill up quickly, so please make reservations as soon as possible! The hotel is of stark beauty and is convceniently located in downtown Providence, right next to the mall and within 5 minutes walking from the Rhode Island Convention Center where the main technical program will take place.

Radisson Hotel

A block of 80 rooms has been set aside for both CP and ICAPS for a price of $102 (ca. EUR 76) per night, plus taxes. The cut-off date is August 1, 2007. The hotel rooms are nice and offer free internet access, but the hotel is not very beautifully located between the interstate highway I195 and an off-ramp. The hotel is a 20-25 minute walk from the Rhode Island Convention Center where the main technical program takes place. The hotel runs complimentary shuttle busses to Kennedy plaza.
